Real Men Wear Pink

AIC's baseball team

And take first and second place in Western Massachusetts fundraising effort

Coaches, assistant coaches, and team members of AIC’s men’s baseball and ice hockey teams have reason to celebrate. They took first and second place, respectively, in the Real Men Wear Pink fundraising challenge for the American Cancer Society. The two AIC teams raised one-third of the $21,000 total raised in Western Mass with men’s baseball at $3,820 and men’s ice hockey raising $3,274!

How was the money spent?

60 patients and caregivers received a night of free lodging when they travel for treatment.

15 wigs were provided for patients in treatment.

123 patients received transportation to treatment or follow-up visits.

Congratulations to the AIC Yellow Jackets who give it their best on the field, on the ice, and in helping their community members in need.
