In December 2017, AIC launched Rex’s Pantry, a food and necessities pantry housed on campus, to benefit community members in need. The Pantry is a collaborative effort: food is prepared by Chartwells, the College’s dining services provider; campus vendors C&W Services and G4S donate essential items, including cold-weather wear and nonperishable foods; and volunteers come from all corners of the AIC community—students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends.

The Pantry initiative is coordinated by the Office of Marketing and Communications.

Since its inception, Rex’s Pantry has supplied thousands of hot and nutritious meals and collected thousands of pounds of canned goods and other living necessities for the homeless and less fortunate.
