Yousef Izadi

Assistant Professor of Physics

Dr. Yousef Izadi received his Master’s degree in physics from Florida Atlantic University and his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He teaches a variety of physics and astronomy courses and has a strong passion for making physics both engaging and enjoyable for all students. Dr. Izadi believes that physics is fun and accessible to everyone, and he strives to share that enthusiasm in the classroom.

As a theoretical physicist, Dr. Izadi focuses on the fundamental theories of nature, specializing in gravitation and cosmology. His research includes modified gravity theories, black hole physics, inflation, and dark energy. He is an active member of the American Physical Society (APS) and the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT).

Besides physics, Dr. Izadi loves spending time in nature and enjoys art, philosophy, and history.
