Biography

I obtained both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (graduated 2008) and Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on leadership (graduated 2014) from American International College. I was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau the senior year of my undergraduate program. I began my nursing career working on a respiratory intermediate care unit locally with numerous roles including precepting new hires to being a charge nurse, and most importantly, advocating for patients. From there I moved into case management, which focuses on care coordination and discharge planning and making sure patient’s care needs are addressed and advocated for. I have a strong commitment to advocacy in patient care and the education environment and strive to help other achieve positive outcomes. I have lived in Western MA my entire life and feel connected to this community. I continue to work as a case manager in the clinical setting as well as at AIC.
