Krista Mitchell, MSN, RN-BC

Assistant Professor of Nursing

Biography

Professor Mitchell comes to American International College after many years working in a variety of clinical settings, specializing in medical-surgical and orthopedic nursing. She received her BSN at the University of Rhode Island in 2014 and MSN at Western Governors University in 2018, with a focus on clinical education. She is currently board certified in Medical-Surgical Nursing. In addition to remaining in clinical practice, Professor Mitchell teaches medical-surgical nursing courses at the junior and senior levels here at AIC
