Whether it’s redesigning a play area for a child in a wheelchair, planning holiday shopping strategies for an adult with heart and breathing problems, or modifying job tasks so a returning veteran with a traumatic brain injury can return to work…Occupational Therapists (OTs) make a difference in people’s lives.

The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program at American International College prepares students for general practice in the occupational therapy profession, synthesizing the art of caring with the science of sound research in a hands-on setting. You will learn to design interventions and adapt environments that enable individuals to participate in daily activities at home, school, work, and play. In addition to academic coursework, our occupational therapy students are required to successfully complete fieldwork experiences to effectively apply knowledge within the environmental contexts of therapeutic practice. Students participate in course-related fieldwork experiences beginning in the professional foundation phase and continuing throughout the final year in the program.
*American International College may adjust program delivery format as deemed necessary prior to or during the academic year.
The AIC MSOT program can give you the knowledge and training to help individuals of all ages to participate in the activities that they want and need to do in their daily life.
You can apply online using the OTCAS application. To learn more about the process, visit www.otcas.org.
Occupational therapy has been consistently rated as one of the top recession-proof jobs by media outlets such as Forbes, TIME magazine, and NPR.
