A major in healthcare management opens exciting possibilities for careers across a wide spectrum of health-related industries. Nonclinical positions continue to grow as the need for healthcare is driven by the aging baby boomer population and the development of new health treatments and technologies.
Our AIC healthcare management students receive a strong foundation in business administration and the American healthcare system, and our curriculum builds upon that foundation with specialty courses in healthcare technologies, healthcare management, healthcare ethics, and healthcare marketing. Internships complete the academic experience - providing "real world" experience in a healthcare setting prior to graduation.
Equally important for the individual with an associate degree in radiography/diagnostic imaging, respiratory therapy, or information management/coding, completing the healthcare management major at AIC prepares current healthcare professionals to assume greater managerial responsibilities within their workplace settings.
