Doctoral Programs of Study

Doctor of Education programs are online, non-licensure programs for practitioners in education, educational leadership, counseling, and supervisory roles, and higher education who already hold an accredited master’s degree in education, educational administration, psychology, counseling, or a closely aligned field. The 3 Doctoral non-licensure tacks to obtain EdD are Teaching & Learning, Educational Leadership & Supervision, and Higher Education. These paths are 51 credits each and the program is an asynchronous online program with 3 trimesters. Our model includes collaboration with the Dissertation Chair early in the program by the end of year one.
