Password Change Instructions
On Tuesday, 12/12/23, all Faculty and Staff will be prompted to change their passwords upon login between 7:45 a.m. and 8 a.m. Please follow the instructions below. Please contact the IT HelpDesk if you have any questions: 413-205-3402
NOTE: Students will be required to change their passwords on Wednesday 12/13/23 between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
If you are logged in to your email at home on a tablet device please log out or disable its wifi until you have changed your password. This will prevent you getting locked out. Please turn your phones wifi and data off until you have changed your password, or turn on airplane mode. After password change, turn it back on and connect to AIC network with your new credentials.
iOS/Apple device instructions
- Swipe down from the home screen to open Control Center
- Touch either the wifi icon or airplane icon to temporarily disconnect from the network
Android device instructions
- Go to Settings > Network and Internet > Wifi
- Toggle wifi off or forget the AIC network
- Go back and tap mobile network, and toggle data
- Alternatively, you can put your phone into airplane mode
On Campus:
- Log in with your current password
- Open a web browser and go to https://start.aic.edu
- Log in
- You will then be prompted to change your AIC password (Please note that password requirements are: at least 8 characters, 1 number, 1 special character. Your password cannot contain 3 consecutive characters of your name.).

- Reboot your computer; you will need to enter your new password to login
IF YOU ARE CONNECTED VIA WIRELESS: After changing your password, right-click on the AIC network and select Forget. Then click on wireless and select AIC network to reconnect, you will be prompted to enter your AIC email address and new password.
If you are working remotely:

Disconnect from the VPN
- Open a web browser and go to https://start.aic.edu
- Log in

You will then be prompted to change your AIC password (Please note that password requirements are: at least 8 characters, 1 number, 1 special character. Your password cannot contain 3 consecutive characters of your name.).
