HOW TO GET HELP ON USING THE LIBRARY:
By email: Email us at reference@aic.edu with your questions. We will try to respond within one business day.
In person: Fill out our Reference Request form to schedule an appointment.
By instant message: Schedule an appointment to meet with a reference librarian in FirstClass for a chat reference session.
By phone: 413.205.3206.
Instructional sessions: Faculty may bring their classes in for library instruction sessions. To schedule a library instruction session with a reference librarian, please fill out our online Instruction request form or email us at information.literacy@aic.edu. We ask for at least one week's notice for scheduling instruction sessions.
Trying to do research and having trouble? Can't make it to campus to meet with a librarian?
Try our Chat Reference service! When you fill out the Reference Request form, tell us that you need a "chat reference appointment." At the confirmed appointment time, log in to FirstClass. You will receive an instant message request from Library Reference. Once you accept the request, your reference session will begin!
