For many years, community members have come to AIC to partner with our physical and occupational therapy students in a hands-on learning experience.
The six-week program, held earlier this spring and now serving 40 participants, gives community members access to evaluation and treatment while students build clinical skills, collaborate across disciplines, and learn under the guidance of faculty mentors.
The experience is not only educational but Itโs a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact for our students ๐

Congratulations to AICโs recent Criminal Justice graduates Ana Prudencio โ25, Tyler Daga โ25, and Kiam Rennix โ25 (MSCJ โ26) ๐๐
After completing a 12-week academy with the Hampden County Sheriffโs Office, they are beginning their careers at the Hampden County Correctional Center in Massachusetts.

Earlier this spring, more than 120 fifth graders from Springfield International Charter School (SICS) visited AIC for a day of mini-classes, hands-on activities, and a campus tour after our School of Education students led interactive lessons at their school.
Now in its second year, this partnership gives SICS students an early look at college life while providing AIC education majors with meaningful, real-world teaching experience.
We loved having these young scholars on campus and canโt wait to welcome them back again soon ๐
