The Yellow Jackets Club Golf Tournament is an annual alumni event for the AIC Athletics community, attracting over 120 alumni, friends, athletic administrators, and head coaches from AIC’s 23 varsity programs. The tournament epitomizes the Yellow Jackets Club’s efforts to bring AIC athletes together under one roof and all funds raised directly support the Club’s mission to preserve the traditions, foster the ideals, enhance the student-athlete experience, improve facilities and advance the interests of AIC Athletics. The 2021 Yellow Jackets Club Golf Tournament will be held at Springfield Country Club on Monday, September 20, 2021.

The following policies and procedures are subject to change based on current state guidelines. In addition to the following protocols, we ask that you use the following precautions:

  • If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. (Any player with noticeable symptoms will be asked to go home).
  • Avoid touching your mouth, nose, lips and eyes.
  • Wash your hands frequently. If you are unable to wash your hands, use hand sanitizer.

Athletics Golf Outing Protocols:

  • ALL players will be required to sign a waiver of liability on the day of the tournament, if you do not sign, you may not play.
  • Absolutely no gathering or loitering in the parking lot or non-approved areas – on the property before or after a round.
    • Players may choose to gather in  approved dining areas, at your own risk and following all required health and safety guidelines.
  • Players are to maintain at least a six-foot distance minimum from other people (except for household members) while on property whenever possible.
  • Mask/facial coverings must be worn when six-foot minimum distance cannot be met, when indoors (if available) or otherwise in accordance with government ordinance.
  • There will be NO shotgun start.
  • We will be using assigned tee times in 10-minute intervals. Please register for your preferred tee time, ONLY AFTER registering for the tournament, by visiting here: TEE TIME REGISTRATION
  • Groups are required to stay away from the starting area until the previous groups have cleared the tee.
  • There will not be an awards ceremony. Players are required to leave as soon as possible after completing their round.
    • All winners will be announced on this page following the tournament and all prizes will either be sent to the team captain of the foursome or can be picked up on campus following socially distant protocols
    • The same process will be followed for all raffle prize winners
      • ALL raffle tickets must be purchased PRIOR to the event as there will be no cash/credit exchange on the day of the tournament.
      • AIC will be sharing what raffle prizes will be available on the AIC Athletics Golf Outing page as the tournament approaches.
      • Tickets may be purchased even AFTER your registration is complete.
    • If the tournament must be cancelled due to changes in current state/city/AIC or course guidelines refunds will be offered or the registration fee will directly benefit the AIC Athletics departments
      • Other refunds for cancelled players will be made through September 7, 2021.
        • After September 7thany cancelled play will result in a direct donation to the AIC Athletics Department.
