AIC Professor Discusses How Criminal Justice Courses are Evolving

AIC Criminal Justice Department Chairman David Kuzmeski

American International College Criminal Justice Department Chairman David Kuzmeski is also the AIC police chief. Professor Kuzmeski said AIC’s program isn’t just focused on law, but on social science: how to interact with people. He said that is a large part of officers’ success during, and after, the police academy. “It’s far less likely for a police officer, statistically, who has a college degree, to have citizens’ complaints of excessive force or maltreatment,” Kuzmeski told 22News.
