This has been a scintillating season for the Western Mass. Pioneers, a team based in nearby Ludlow, MA, that plays in United Soccer’s League Two. League Two spans the U.S. and Canada, embracing 72 teams in 11 divisions.

As part of the impressive line-up, five Pioneers come from AIC – defender Adrian Romero, and midfielders Connor Hicks, Yanis Boucetta, Jeremy Fricher, and Alexandre Frank.

On July 13, the Pioneers were named the 2019 Northeast Division Champions with an undefeated regular season 11-0-3.
