A Higher Dedication

It’s called summer melt: students who commit to a college but fail to show up for classes in the fall. This is not at all uncommon, but AIC’s goal is to make sure students know that commitment goes both ways.

To avoid summer melt, admissions departments stay in touch with students over the summer to keep them excited about school, and help them with problems that crop up before they get discouraged and decide not to go.

But AIC takes this outreach to a higher level. AIC admissions staff members actually drive to some students’ homes over the summer to help with paperwork or just reinforce the message that they have made the right choice by coming to college.

It is good to know when you commit to AIC, AIC commits to you!
