Move-In Day

New residential students (including transfer students) should plan to move into their Residence Halls on Friday, August 23^rd between 9am and 11am. New students returning to campus on the morning on 8/23 will need to first report to the Griswold Theatre Lobby in the Karen Sprague Cultural Arts Center to finalize any paperwork due to the College and pick up their student ID. New Student Orientation begins at 1:00pm on August 23^rd, so it is important that students plan their arrival accordingly.

When arriving at the Griswold Lobby, please park in the “I” Lot on the corner of Maynard and State Street and enter through the Griswold Lobby. Once you receive you student ID, you’ll be cleared to move into your perspective Residence Hall. For full Move-In Day Logistics visit www.aic.edu/movein.

New Student Orientation

All first-year students should plan on attending the College’s New Student Orientation will begin at 1:00pm on Friday, August 23^rd. New Student Orientation is a mandatory event that is designed to engage students with the AIC community, while preparing them for a successful educational journey.

Academic Readiness, Preparing for College Courses

YOU, the STUDENT

The purpose of YOU, the STUDENT is to get first-year students ready for academic success by introducing time management strategies, collegiate study skills, and classroom expectations.  In an atmosphere that minimizes anxiety and stimulates an excitement for learning, this session will also explore college services and programs that support educational and personal goals. Credit for AIC1140 (APEX) and AIC1100 (ACE) will be awarded to all students who attend.

• 10:00-11:00 AM in Breck 107
• 10:00-11:00 AM in Breck 109
• 12:00-1:00 PM in Breck 107
